Album ARTWORK for KEITA / DEPTH The concept of this EP was to combine afro-music drums with some obscured sounds as well. The success of both creations, really made the EP have something different to provide to every person that would like to listen to it. For the beginning of the EP, Tafari is a track composed of a lot of percussion and a percussive kick as well. The unique sound of the chords gives the track some spontaneous sounds as well as a unique rhythm to the song. Keita is quite special itself. The hard kick it possesses combined with the rhythms of the percussions really has some afro-music influences as well. The rhythm of the plucks as well as the voices in the background really makes the track have a combination and influences of afro-music with some dark sounds as well. Carlos Barberos: Carlos Barbero is a Panamanian Dj/Producer (21 years old), who started exploring different styles of music at the age of 13, until his step-brother introduced him to the electronic music culture. Immediately felt in love with this movement mainly because of the fusion of so many genres; from awesome ambient sounds to strong bass lines. He is strongly influenced by the Panamanian djs Gio Vellojin and K.E.E.N.E. Co-founders of the underground movement Late Night Music. Also by international artists such as: Frankey & Sandrino, Thomas Gandey, ANNA, Alex Niggemann, and many others which use a unique style in their productions. Started to focus on music production while learning to play piano and ukulele. These two instruments have helped him to develop new techniques in order to achieve his own sound. George Olmos Influenced since childhood, George was always involved with music. His musical journey and maturity have helped him to develop sets with all kinds of tendencies. George starts his journey in 2008, spinning at parties of his friends but it is not until 2010 that the opportunity to be dj resident of the electronic scene in Discoteca Fever, Coastway Amador – Panama. At the same time in the old city of Panama (Casco Antiguo), a new stream of electronic sounds started to be more popular.
